Person Perception in Cyberspace

Projects in this area are focused on how people use the features of the interface and information provided within the interaction in the person perception process.

Presence

Projects in this area are focused on questions of the causes and influences of presence. At the same time, we are working to clarify the meaning and measurement of the dimensions of presence.

Communication Technology Design

Projects in this area are focused on both design and evaluation. Some projects work to design systems to enhance people's ability to learn from technology, while others work to evaluate the extent to which an interface
enables people to meet their interaction goals.
