The Communication Club meets weekly. Speakers are often brought into these meetings to explain their role in the communication industry as well as allow us to network. This provides an opportunity for students to learn what specific field they want to pursue as well as introduce themselves for internship and job purposes in the future. The Club is made up of 4 officers. The President's main responsibilities are to create a calendar of events with speakers, events, and field trips as well as handle any dealings with the University. The Vice President is in charge of membership recruitment and retention. The Secretary takes minutes and updates all web accounts for the club (i.e. Facebook). The Treasurer is responsible for our bank account and any financial dealings of the club. Any internal committees are developed on an as-needed basis. When events are being held, committees are formed to handle various tasks such as planning, publicity, and execution.
